At Akrolithi Boutique Hotel & Guesthouse, our love for Mani is reflected in every detail. Akrolithi’s six stone-built towers are home to a total of 13 unique suites. Ten are part of Akrolithi Boutique Hotel, while the remaining three, housed in two of the towers, make up Akrolithi Guesthouse. Each suite has its own aesthetic, character and atmosphere. The distinctive local stone of Mani is paired with handcrafted rugs, carefully selected reproductions of works by Greek artists, natural materials and thoughtfully curated decorative details, while from every private terrace, sweeping views across the Bay of Oitylo unfold before you like a natural extension of the horizon.

Vroulea, Pelena, Kamari, Kazika, Elia, Vika, Limeni, Petrobey, Ploumi, Maniatissa, Areopoli, Pyrgos, Vendetta.

These names were not chosen by chance. They are words rooted in Mani, carrying with them memories, people, places and traditions. Some come from the everyday life of the Maniots, others from the local dialect, folk art or history, together forming a small cultural portrait of the region.

And so, almost without realising it, your stay takes on a different dimension. You are not simply staying in a beautiful, luxurious suite with sweeping views across the Bay of Oitylo. You wake up in Vroulea, enjoy your morning coffee in Elia, unwind in Vika’s private heated outdoor hot tub, wonder what Pelena or Kazika means and, almost instinctively, begin to discover Mani through its very own words.

The journey continues at Akrolithi Guesthouse, where the three renovated stone suites - Areopoli, Pyrgos and Vendetta - evoke an even stronger sense of a traditional Maniot home. Stone, wood and the fireplace take centre stage, preserving their authentic character while offering every modern comfort.
